The internet popularity contest – Scary Washing Machine
Is it just me or is the internet just another medium for a popularity contest. How many friends on facebook, how much feedback stars on eBay and TradeMe and now the famous Twitter – how many followers do you have? BTW – Follow us on twitter.
Anyway where was I… Underground Design specialise in making business popular on the internet, we call it web marketing, basically giving your business friends and supporters which eventually result in an unbelievably HUGE increase in sales.
So the latest popularity conquest was the “Scary Washing Machine” which was only worth something if the owner actually paid you to take it away. However with some cleaver wording he was able to get $5,160 for this washing machine. Check it out here.
This just proves the difference in just selling products to giving an end user the feeling that this product will better them in some way…. In this case popularity.
